Hello,
i like to tell you to add some informations of  west azerbaijan of iran in our weblog...
first,the center of west azebaijan(azarbaijan gharbi)is urumieh.
but the people tell it as urmia.
before islamic revolution it named Rezaeih.
the race of people is azari and kurdish.
they live together.most cities are kurdish.
there are some historical sites as Saatli masjidi(clock mosque)-Dash Masjidi(stone mosque)-pazar(bazar)
and salt lake that is the secon salt lake in the world.
there some cherches as Nane maryam_and others.
it is  about 45 minutes to turkey border.
also you can find ghara kelisa that located near Makou ,
tell me about them .

i like to add that most people have grape yards in west azarbaijan.
it is famous for its grapes to make juice and ...
and aslo appels that SALMAS is the best apple in the area and iran.
uh,there is AZAR GOSHNASB ATASHKADEH there.
it would be nice that you can make a tour for persian student of fars to see that part of  their land IRAN.
when SHAPOUR1 came to iran after the battel with rom,it made a  figure on the stone of mountain .
it is near by the road of Salmas to urmieh,you can see it when you driving car
